The First Annual Quality Educator Convention was a great success!

The First Annual Quality Educator Convention was held June 19-21 at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin. By all accounts, and according to most of the participants' informal comments during the three days, this inaugural event was a great success. Headlined by keynote speaker and nationally recognized guru on educator evaluation and development, Charlotte Danielson, the event drew over 600 Wisconsin educators who attended in teams that included teachers, school leaders, and district administrators.

Among those 600 educators were several from Marion Elementary School in the School District of Marion (image below). The Marion Elementary team stopped by the QEI Website 2.0 Release Party that took place all day on Thursday, June 20th.

In addition to the free apparel, everyone who stopped by was able to learn more about the QEI's latest updates, see the fantastic pictures that have been submitted to the imageide@s website by Wisconsin middle and high school students, and walk away with 2 GB flashdrives and other goodies while having their PDP and licensing questions answered by QEI staff.

Whether you were there or not, be sure to make plans to visit the QEI at next year's QE Convention in Madison on June 18-20, 2014.
