QEI user agreement
Any person accessing the Quality Educator Interactive (QEI) website (defined as a User) agrees to the following terms and conditions:
Welcome to the QEI and thank you for reading our User Agreement. The following rules govern the use of QEI. These rules apply to all materials, online communications and other information that is or becomes available on QEI. By signing on and/or using QEI, you specifically agree to abide by these rules and any future modifications. For the purpose of this agreement, "QEI" refers to the Quality Educator Interactive Website and/or the Quality Educator Interactive Partners.
(1) Uses Permitted
The use of any QEI owned content on any other Web site or networked computer environment is expressly prohibited without consent of the QEI Partners. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to QEI and its partners.
(2) User's Obligation to Abide by Applicable Law
All data entered by a user are the property of the user. In connection with the use of QEI, you agree to abide by all applicable federal, state or local laws, including those relating but not necessarily limited to such areas as libel, slander, defamation, trade libel, product disparagement, harassment, invasion of privacy, tort, obscenity, indecency, and copyright or trademark infringement. The information available on QEI may include intellectual property that is protected under the copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws of the United States and/or other countries. The user also agrees to not post any documents, information, or images that provide personal information about students without the consent of parents/guardians. The user accepts all responsibility related to documents and other information stored on the QEI.
(3) Disclosure of Online Communications
You are cautioned that any online communications may not be fully confidential. You should be aware that federal postal regulations do not protect electronic mail. You should also be aware that administrative personnel of QEI may, in the course of their regular duties, have access to communications for technical or operational purposes. QEI may also disclose any communications to the extent required by law.
(4) Protection Against Malicious Programming
QEI will make every effort to ensure the safety of content posted to the Web site. However, downloading of software or other materials or any other use of the information on QEI is at your own risk. You are advised to take adequate precautions to minimize any loss to your system caused by malicious programming (e.g. virus, worms), including use of anti-virus programs and proper backup of files. Posting malicious programming to QEI is prohibited.
(5) Content
QEI will enlist the integrity of its partners to become a trusted service. QEI reserves the right to review any information that is or becomes available on this Web site. QEI reserves the right to refuse to post or to remove any information that is, in its sole discretion deemed, unacceptable, and undesirable or in violation of these rules or Wisconsin State Law. However, QEI has no obligation to exercise such reservation of rights.
(6) Disclaimer
Many of the pages in the QEI Website contain hypertext links to pages created and/or maintained by other public and private organizations. These links are provided for the user's convenience. The QEI Partners do not and cannot guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness, or completeness of this outside information. Further, the inclusion of these items is not intended to reflect their importance, nor is it intended to endorse any views expressed, products or services offered, or the organizations sponsoring the sites.
(7) Release and Indemnity
QEI cannot be liable for any circumstance that may result from the use or inability to use the Web site due to delays in operation or transmission or any other failure of performance.
User assumes all responsibility for use of the QEI Website. The User waives all claims against QEI, its sponsors, Partners, and affiliated organizations, directors, employees, staff, and programmers that may arise from use of the QEI Website.
(8) Modifications
This User Agreement may be modified by QEI from time to time. Such modifications will be binding on all site visitors as soon as they appear online.

(10) Features
The QEI may add, modify, or remove features of the website and its membership types at any time without full or partial refund to members.
